Two-Reserves Tuggeranong Twilight 3hr Saturday 15 February

Saturday February 15 at 4pm marks the date of ACTRA’s first rogaine of the year. You’ve heard of the TT Race and the Triple Tri - well now ACTRA goes one better: ‘T4’ The Two-Reserves Tuggeranong Twilight. This year we go back to Canberra’s southern suburbs, with an assembly area providing excellent access to Tuggeranong Hill and Rob Roy Nature Reserves. Course setters have identified some not-too-easy not-too-hard control sites, perfect for all levels of fitness and even better for fabulous views of our amazing territory. Entries are now open for the 2025 Australasian Rogaining Championships on March 15-16. longplainview

Experience the open plains and high country bush of Northern Kosciuszko National Park. ACTRA is hosting the event and have 24 hours of fun organised for you and your friends. Situated at the northern end of Long Plain around the headwaters of the Murrumbidgee River, this area features long unburnt tall forest with grassy plains. Expect a lot of variety in this course, from limestone sinkholes to boulders with good views, a few fire trails and single tracks together with loads of untracked areas.

This course is on a 1:25,000 map and we might even give you 5 m contours to make the hills look super steep, or perhaps to provide more detail in flatter areas. We have several mappers collaborating on how best to show the vegetation detail so you can make those optimal route choice decisions at 3 am.

2024 Spring 6/12 hour results

Results and photos are now online for the 2024 "Spring, Creek, Trail" 6/12 hour rogaine.

A fabulous day with clear skies then beautiful stars and comet viewing before the moon came up. Teams enjoyed the beautiful open bush and spring wildflowers.

The 6 hour event was won by Oscar Brown and Oscar Woolford with 1940 points, Monkia Binder and Bruce Barnett won mixed with 1310 points and Anna Cohen and Bella Dunk won women's with 830 points.

The 12 hour event was won by Tristan White and Ivan Koudashev with 2680 points, visiting all controls with 45 minutes to spare, Toni Bachvarova and Andrew Smith won mixed with 2370 points, and Rachel Grindlay and Nicole Mealing won women's with 1940 points.
