ACTRA runs remote area first aid courses to train volunteer first aid people for events. In return for training you are asked to volunteer for at least two events during the validity of your training (3 years). 

The intent is that we have people to assist with first aid at the Hash House but also to know that we have rogainers out on course who might be able to help others in the event of an accident. If you have an interest in learning first aid suitable for a remote area and are a regular rogainer please contact Jean to register your interest. Numbers are quite limited.

Running this course is subject to ACTRA being successful in a grant application, which we are waiting to hear about.
