
This year’s Night and Day/Cycle events will be in scenic Tallaganda State Forest, just hour east of Canberra. Rogainers can expect a 50:50 mix of pine and native forest, with a course designed for all levels of experience. Camping will be available at the Hash House, so why not do the night then day event?
Key information:
When: Night 5 hour – Saturday 19 September, 5pm-10pm
Day Foot or Cycle 6 hour – Sunday 20 September, 9am-3pm
Where: The Hash House will be at the intersection of Lowden Road and Coxes creek road.
How to get there: You MUST go via Bungendore, the most direct roads are closed for bridgeworks. Roads from Bungendore are unsealed but high quality.
Entry: $53 full, $42 concession; with $10 late fee from Monday 14 September. Entries close midnight Wednesday 16th September.
Cycle information: The course has been designed with cycling in mind and encouraged. Any gravel or mountain bike will be able to easily get around the course. You will however need to make the final approach to controls on foot. We recommend using flat pedals with trail shoes, or at the very least mountain bike shoes you are comfortable walking in.
