A big thank you yet again to Jon Glanville for another superb virtual rogaine, this time south of Lake Burley Griffin and around Red Hill and South Canberra. Jon found even more hidden gems with sculptures, artwork, interesting geology, great views and the obligatory cafes. All of these temptations did not slow down our fastes t rogainers with four people getting around the whole course in less than f our hours.
Our overall winner was Christopher Bradley perfecting his route to break 3 hours for all controls on his second attempt.
Notabl e category winners were fourth placed Mens Youth team of Hamish Mcewen and Owen Chenhall; Jonathan Ricks missing only 1 control and winning Mens Veter ans; Craig Wisdom winning the Mens Supervets and Ultravets; Amber Mcculloch first in womens; Olivia Yates and Martin Duong as the first mixed team; an d Craig, Archie, Kerrie and Zahlia Cowan again the first family team.

2025's eve nt area included the parliamentary suburb of Parkes, along with the many pa rks in the leafy suburbs of Barton, Forrest, Griffith, Red Hill, Hughes, De akin and Yarralumla.
While the formal event is over, the map is still available and you can use MapRun on your phone or watch to record yo ur event. Please download and read these instructions on using MapRun to learn how to use the App. The App uses the GPS on your phone to work out you are at the control locat ion. To score a control you will need to be within 10 m of the feature. Che ck your detailed control descriptions as there are no flags. The MapRu n App will show the map on your phone screen but if you prefer to be able t o see the whole map, download and print your own copy. The start locat ion is at Deakin shops. This is shown as a triangle near the centre of the map. There is ample free parking in Hannah Place.
