a final briefing at 9.50am. Registration will open at 8.30am.

The re

To register, one person only per team to register and collect maps

upon registration.

You will also be given pre-marked maps, control de
scriptions, course setter's notes and a small copy of the map to be used as
a flight plan. We recommend that you arrive at least an hour prior to the
start of the event to allow enough time for final preparations and route pl
anning. Each team must mark their intended route showing direction of trave
l on the flight plan and hand it in before starting.

RE
MEMBER There will be a 400-500m walk to the start (depending on wh
ere you have parked), so please allow enough time to get there for the brie
fing.

Map and Course Details

There will be one SRA4 map, 1:25
,000 with 10 m contour interval. Magnetic north lines are marked on the map
. Out of bounds areas are marked in purple shading. The course setters note
s and control descriptions have been printed on the back. The altitude rang
es from approximately 780 to 1020 m.

The map is printed on Tesl
in paper which is very tough and generally does not need to be covered in c
ontact.

Wooded areas are generally clear navigating, but in wat
ercourses and open fields you may well find significant thistle/prickly veg
etation. Leg cover is recommended. Recent rain has made the steep terrain a
nd the foot and vehicle tracks quite slippery, and more rain is forecast fo
r the weekend of the event, so a change of clothes including footwear for a
fter the event is also recommended.

Water

Please
bring enough water for Hash House use and for at least 3 hours on
course. There are no water drops on the course. We do not recommend drinki
ng any water found on the course without sterilisation.

Campin

event.

Please bring your own plate, bowl, cup and cutlery to enjoy th
e afternoon tea style Hartley catering - hot soup, cheese toasties, hot dri
nks and cakes will be available.

Please Bring to the Event

<

recommended.

Water

Please bring enough water for
